Blackburn College Senior Outfielder Donny Fuhrhop was the
named the B-Man Award winner for the 2013-14 school year at
Blackburn College. The B-Man Award is presented to the senior
male student-athlete that best exemplifies what it means to be a
Blackburn College Student-Athlete.
"Donny Fuhrhop has been a stand out baseball player for
Blackburn. He is hard working and dedicated on and off the field,
he works in two Work Program positions and does a great job in
both. Donny is someone that leads by doing, he performs at a
high level and sets the example for others around him," said
Blackburn College Director of Athletics Angie Morenz.
Fuhrhop is one of the most decorated athletes in Blackburn
history as he was named all-conference in three different seasons
as well as the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's
Player of the Year in 2013. He would have undoubtedly set
many school records this spring if it wasn't for an injury that
kept him out of 16 games.
