Blackburn College Junior Outfielder Matt Mokriakow (Glen Carbon, Il.) was recently named to the Rawlings-American Baseball Coaches Association's All-Region Team.  Mokriakow was a second-team selection after a season in which he was second in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with a .437 average.

Mokriakow also led the Beavers in doubles with 15 and runs batted in with 36.  Mokriakow is a two-time all-sliac first team outfielder.  "This is a nice award for Matt, I truly believed with the season he had, that he was a legitimate first team selection, hopefully that will provide some motivation for Matt to come back with an even stronger senior season," said Blackburn Head Coach Mike Neal.
