The Blackburn College Baseball Team conducted their senior day on Tuesday afternoon in Carlinville. The Beavers recognized seniors Joey Szerletich, Parker Ramaker, JP Hobbs and John Esparza.
Fontbonne won the doubleheader by score of 6-0 and 11-0.
On a very windy afternoon, the Beaver offense did not muster much offense as Blackburn had just eight hits on the day.
The pitching of starters Sammy Gordon and Brady Wilkinson pitched well but the Blackburn defense failed them at times and the lack of offense made it difficult on them.
Blackburn wraps up a disappointing 7-31 season plagued by injuries.
