Another men's basketball season is in the books for the Beavers as they played host to Gorloks of Webster University Saturday afternoon.  Seniors Ira Williams, James Gowin, and Brandon Adams all played their final game of their college career.

The first half was a battle in the paint as Webster outworked Blackburn scoring 24 points down low. Blackburn retaliated with a quick 7-0 run with Jon Lowry getting all the action.  However, the Beavers sent the Gorloks to the line seven times to end the half and Webster went into halftime with a 14 point cushion.

Yet again, Blackburn came out in the second half hot and quickly narrowed the deficit to seven with a 13-5 run. The senior trio of Williams, Gowin, and Adams were responsible for ten of the thirteen points.  But just as the Beavers got hot, it became a struggle to put the ball in the basket shooting an ice cold 6-21 for the remainder of the game.

Playing with an injured knee, senior Ira Williams scored a team high 10 points as he shot 100 percent from the field going 4-4 and 2-2 from the charity stripe.  For the 12th time this season, Jon Lowry scored double digits chipping in 10 points of his own.

Blackburn wraps up the season with a record of 2-23 and a conference record of 2-14.
