Men's Basketball Falls To Webster

The Blackburn College Men's Basketball Team lost 76-39, n St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play to the Gorloks of Webster University on Tuesday, January 14. The Beavers found themselves down big for the majority of the game and couldn't claw their way back into it.

At the half, Webster held a 38-17 lead over the Beavers. The Gorloks showed no signs of looking back in the second half as they scored another 38 points to close the game. The Beavers were able to collect 21 second half points but it was not enough to keep up with Webster's offense.

The Beavers were led by Chris Davis, who had twelve points, and Jamie Moore, who was just shy of a double-double with eight points and ten rebounds. Blackburn struggled on the offensive side as they shot only 13-57 from the field and only 1-20 from behind the 3-point line.

With this loss, the Blackburn Men's Basketball Team moves to 0-13 and 0-6 in conference. Webster moves to 7-5 and 4-1 in conference. Blackburn is scheduled to play again on Saturday, January 18 at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri.
