Men's Basketball Finishes Season with Loss at Greenville

The Blackburn College Men's Basketball Team wrapped up their season on Saturday in Greenville where the Beavers fell to Greenville College by a score of 126-104.

Greenville took the lead at the 15:00 mark of the first half and led the entire contest as they claimed the victory.  The Beavers made a few runs including one that made it a one-point game in the second half, but they could keep pace with the high-scoring Panthers.

Malcolm Scott led seven Beavers into double figures by scoring a career high 22 points.  Jake Maestranzi scored 16 points, Hunter Johnson and Reed Rusten 13 apiece, Willie Orange and Tommy Childs ten apiece and Karson Hayes ten points for Blackburn.

Greenville thwarted the Beavers' bid for a winning season record as Blackburn finishes 12-13, a two-game improvement from a year ago.  The Beavers were 9-9 in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play.
