Cleotha "Cleo" Whisenton is a senior guard for the Blackburn Beavers basketball team. He has played for the team all four years during his time at Blackburn, and has started in multiple games each season. Cleo has contributed majorly to the team through his selfless attitude, positive personality and relentless hustle on the court.
Cleo's love for the game started from a young age. When he was just a young boy, he fell in love with basketball the second he shot his first basket. From that first basket to his latest basket, there has been nothing but pure love for the game. Growing up, Cleo played basketball any way he could, whether it was pickup games or practicing alone. This dedication he has for the game shows on and off the court.
Off the court, Cleo only shows his extended characteristics and contagious hardworking personality. Working in the athletics department, Cleo's all around love for sports shows. His strong work ethic during other sports events only translates to his work ethic during his own games on the basketball court. His will to succeed shows up every time he touches the ball.
From a young age, he loved the game, and that continuation of love has shined all through his life all the way up to today. As a result of all his hard work and dedication, Cleo has become a vital aspect to the Blackburn basketball team. His selflessness and team mindset contribute greatly to the success of the team.
