Blackburn Golf Competes in Iowa

On Monday April 4th, the Blackburn Men's golf team made the longest trek of the year to Iowa, to compete in the Tiger Classic.  The Beavers couldn't ask for better conditions in Iowa as the teed off in the early afternoon with the temperature around 50 degrees Fahrenheit.  The greens were not in the favor of the Beavers as they were the fastest greens the Beavers had played all year.  The Beavers were unable to adjust and found themselves in seventh place out of 10 teams at the end of the day.  The team shot a 341 as a team.  Leading the Beavers, was senior Tyler Solie and Kyle Kesinger, who both shot 83 on the day.

The Beavers next tournament is on April 11th and 12th at the Gorlok Spring Invitational.  The Beavers are set to tee off the first day around 12 pm, and the second day at 8 am.
