Blackburn Finishes Third at Fall Classic

The Blackburn Men's Golf team traveled to Iowa on September 28th, to compete in the Iowa Wesleyan Fall Classic.  The seasons had just changed from summer to fall.  With the seasons changing comes new conditions for golf.  This includes colder weather and windy conditions.  As expected winds were up in Iowa as the Beavers battled and found themselves with a third place finish.  The Beavers shot a 323 as a team.  Leading the way for the Beavers was Kyle Kesinger with a 76, other scores that counted was freshman Keegan Easley who shot 82.  His brother Trenton Easley also shot a 82.  Rounding out the scoring for Blackburn was sophomore Anthony Harper who shot an 83.  Taking first in the tournament was Iowa Wesleyan who shot a 308.


The Beavers next event will be held at Belk Park in East Alton, IL on Friday October 7th.
