Beavers Finish Fourth in Blueboy Invite

On April 21st and 22nd, the Blackburn College Men's golf team competed in the Blueboy Invitational in Springfield, IL held at The Rail Golf Club.  With brutal windy conditions, and bone chilling temperatures on Saturday morning, the Beavers battled the course and finished fourth place out of eleven teams.  The Beavers shot a first round team score of 317.  Freshman, Keegan Easley, led the Beavers the first day with a 75.  Blackburn also tallied an 80 from Junior, Trenton Easley, and Junior Kyle Kesinger shot an 80 as well.  Jordan McMillen wrapped up the team score with an 82.  In the second round, the Beavers shot a team score of 320,and were led by three 79s from Keegan Easley, Trenton Easley and Kyle Kesinger.  Rounding out the scoring was Anthony Harper, Sophomore, with an 83.  Keegan Easley finished in solo eighth place.  

Blackburn finished the season with much to grow on, with a second place finish in conference and several top five team finishes, the Beavers look to build on that finish and push for more success.
