The Blackburn Men`s Soccer Team traveled to St. Louis to play the St. Louis School of Pharmacy on Thursday, October 8th. Reed Gwillim (Springfield, Ill.) put one on the board for the Beavers only 47 seconds into the match. The game was back and forth leading into halftime and during the second half. St. Louis scored at 78:48 into the game. The Beavers had seven offsides compared to St. Louis one. With the score being 1-1, the match headed into ten minutes of overtime. Mikey Stephenson (Raymond, Ill.) scored at 91:51 to seal the 2-1 win over St. Louis. The Beavers had seven shots on goal while St. Louis had seventeen. The Blackburn Men`s Soccer Team moves to 4-5-2. The Beavers host Webster College on Saturday, October 10th at 1PM.
