A huge crowd came out on Homecoming weekend to support the Blackburn Men`s Soccer Team as they kicked off their conference season against MacMurray College. The Beavers kept most of the possession during the entire game. Beavers also dominated on offense with a total of twenty six shots and nine corners. The Blackburn defense only allowed two shots on goal and did give up any corners by the MacMurray offense. Lucas Rinderer (Highland, Ill.) put one on the board for Blackburn at 57:02. Chris O`Connor (Pleasant Plains, Ill.) also scored for the Beavers at 83:34 to seal the 2-0 win over MacMurray.
The Men`s Soccer team looks to continue their streak as they head to Robert Morris-Lake County on Wednesday September 30th. Game is estimated to start at 5:00PM.
