The Blackburn College Men's Soccer team won a 1-0 non-onference match against Robert Morris University-Springfield on Tuesday in Carlinville. After a scoreless first period, the Beavers scored in the 54th minute by Freshman Lane DePratt. Goalkeepers Matthew O'Guinn and Kendl Gulick combined for seven saves to shutout the Eagles. Blackburn outshot Robert Morris 19-15 in the match.
The Beavers move to 2-2-2 on the season
Blackburn is back in action on Saturday as they travel to Galesburg, Illinois to take on the Prairie Fire of Knox College at 1:00 PM.
