Blackburn's Captain, Nate Kinnison quotes, "I think Coach and the team expected a much different result.  We must learn from this experience and give 100% in any game we play to get the results we want.  The team has moved on and now focused on tactics for Spaulding to keep working toward our next conference win."

The Beavers move to 5-4-3 in the season.

The Blackburn Beavers are back in action taking on Spaulding University October 8, at 3pm. in Carlinville.
