Beavers Fall Short Against Griffins

Saturday afternoon at 3pm the Blackburn Beavers Men's Soccer team fell short by one goal to the Fontbonne Griffins. Thus leaving the final score at 2-1 in favor of Fontbonne.

The Beavers lead the scoring off in only the second minute of the match by freshman, Lane DePratt. Fontbonne later on tied up the match in the 1st period with a penaly kick by Nick Wolf. Fontbonne ended up scoring one more goal in the 76th minute. The goalkeeper for Blackburn, Kendi Gulick was marked down with eight saves for the game.

The Blackburn Beavers are now 5-6-3 in the season. They are on the bus for an away game on October 19th at Webster at 7pm.
