The Blackburn College Men's Soccer Team lost a 1-0 heartbreak in double overtime to Berea College on Sunday afternoon in Carlinville. Issac Domenech scored on a penalty kick with 31 seconds remaining in the second overtime to give the Mountaineers the win. Berea out-shot Blackburn 20-4 on the afternoon. Alex Hamerlinck registered five saves for the Beavers who fall to 0-2 on the season. "I was really proud of the way the guys competed today, it was a tough break at the end playing with heavy legs and committing the foul at the edge of the 18," said Blackburn Head Coach Rob Steinkuehler. "The guys did a great job playing in the heat, and really battled it well and played hard the whole game."
