Perla, Miller Earn All-SLIAC Honors

BELLEVILLE, IL -- Freshman Johnny Perla and sophomore Christian Miller earned St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference postseason honors as voted on by the league coaches. 

Perla was named to Second Team All-SLIAC after scoring two goals while taking 27 shots during his debut season.  As a forward, he also played an important role during the offensive attack and was often covered by the opponents top defenders. 

Miller was named to the All Sportsmanship Team. Perla and Miller were both key figures in helping the team stay in postseason contention until the final game.

Blackburn posted two shutout victories during the year while feature a roster that saw 10 freshman on the field at times.
