The Blackburn College Men's Cross Country Team took part in their first meet of the season at St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rival Principia College on August 31^st. Illinois College also took part in the meet. Top runner for the men was Christian Gragnano who finished in eleventh with a time of 22.52.  Teammate Jake DeRousse was right behind as he finished in 14^th. Rounding up the rest of the team was Nathan Speckhart (16), Andrew Rowe (18), Seth Tonsor (20), Paul Kline (22), and Mitchell Elliot (23).
