Men's Cross Country Runs at Webster Opener

FENTON, MO -- The Blackburn College Men's Cross Country team began their 2025 season Friday evening by running a 6k at the Webster University Opener. 

Freshman Izaiah Watkins led the Beavers in his collegiate debut by finishing the course in 25:08.7. 

Junior Collyn Oberkfell was next to finish for Blackburn with a time of 26:02.7. 

Freshman Sam Schoeneweis and sophomore Scotty Cuff were next to finish, with Schoeneweis finishing in 27:12.3, and Cuff timing in at 27:17.4. 

Rounding out the BC finishers were senior Kobe Patton and Ulises Espinoza. 

Blackburn returns to action next week when they take part in the University of Illinois Springfield Hy-Vee Prair Stars Invitational.
