Blackburn College junior outfielder Daniele Burnell from Lapel, Indiana (Lapel HS), was named to the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference first team softball all-conference team.  Burnell was second in the league in batting average, 33 runs batted in.

"Daniele had many of her hits and RBI's come at key times," said Blackburn Coach Kerry Crum.  "I'm looking forward to having her onboard for one more season," added Crum.

Fellow junior Hannah Goett of Springfield, (Lanphier HS), was named to the Utility position on the second team.  Goett batted .430 on the season and had 46 hits to lead the team.
