Women's Basketball Finishes Season Winless

Although the Blackburn College women's basketball team held a 29-28 advantage over Principia·going into halftime, they couldn't hang on as their woes continued. Principia wound up winning the game by a final score of 60-52. Blackburn finished the season at 0-25.

The Beavers were lead by a 11 point performance by Andrea Kleinsorge who played in her final collegiate game of her career. Freshman Briana Rae grabbed 13 rebounds and put home 9 points. Junior Jordan Chapman and sophomore Shelby Smith each added 8 points for Blackburn.

Principia was carried by Sarah Corbitt who scored 23 of the Panthers' 60 points. Lindsay Sydness was one block away from recording a triple-double as she had 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 9 blocks.

Blackburn finished last in the SLIAC by finishing 0-16. The Beavers look to have everyone return to next year's roster besides the graduating Kleinsorge.
