2025-26: Begins senios season of athletics at Blackburn.

2024-25: Marion Carlson Award winner, presented to the junior female athlete who exemplified outstanding qualities of citenship, scholarhip, sportsmanship and athletic ability. Named to the Chi Alpha National Honor Society. Earned Dam Tough Award. 144 kills with 42 blocks during volleyball. Career high 12 points against Fontbonne. Second on the softball team with 33 hits and 25 runs batted in. 

2023-24: Three-sport athlete who played volleyball, basketball and softball. Finished volleyball season with 157 kills and hit at a .175 clip along with 56 total blocks. Started eight games for the basketball team and was named team's Most Improved Player. Earned SLIAC Hitter of the Week honors during softball. Finished second on softball in runs and hits. Dean's List both semesters.

2022-23: Named volleyball's Freshman of the Year. Dean's List both semesters. Posted 35 kills in 15 matches. Added 11 total blocks. 

Before Blackburn: Four-year letterwinner in volleyball, basketball, and softball at Cumberland High School. A part of the National Honor Society, received a Leadership award, was a 4-year varsity letter player, a 3 time MVP, and was a two time All-Tournament Team selection. Holds records in basketball for most rebounds. In volleyball, holds the record for most blocks. In softball, holds the record for most homeruns, RBI's, and triples.  Two-time First and Second Team All-Conference selection. 

Personal: Daughter of Shane and Carole Mitchell. Physical Education Major. 

Job on Campus: Community Service Manager

Why Blackburn College: I chose Blackburn becacuse of the small community that made it feel like home. Everyone on campus was so welcoming and made me want to come to Blackburn!
