Over their fall break, the Beavers traveled to Louisville, Kentucky to face Spalding University.

In the first half, Blackburn held strong and keeper Shana Sewick allowed only 2 goals.

The second half, Spalding forged on to score 3 more before the clock ran out.

Though the score may not show it, the Beavers played very aggressively and Sewick had multiple saves to keep the score from climbing any higher.

While this will count as a loss in Blackburn's conference record, they are still showing tremendous improvement from the beginning of the season.

The women's team face Principia this Saturday at 3pm in Elsah, Illinois for their fifth conference game of the season hoping to improve on their current season record of 6-7.
