On Saturday, November 2, the Women's Soccer Team faced the Griffins of Fontbonne University in Clayton, Missouri.

During the first half, keeper Shana Sewick, had seven great saves, only allowing the Griffins to score twice. Upfield, Blackburn's forwards tried to push through Fontbonne's strong defense, but could only pull off on shot on goal.

In the second half, Sewick continued to make tough saves, but the Griffins wouldn't hold back, scoring three more and ending the match.

While this match was supposed to be the Beavers final game of the season, due to weather, they are scheduled to rematch the Red Devils at Eureka College, Monday, November 4.
