On Monday, November 4, the Women's Soccer Team returned to Eureka College in their final game of the season and to finish off a previous match that was called off due to weather.

In the first half, Blackburn played very offensively, producing 14 shots with eleven of them being shots on goal. As the clock ran down though, the Beavers couldn't manage to get one past Eureka's keeper and the half ended in a 0-0 tie.

During the second half, Eureka became more aggressive, forcing Blackburn into more defensive positions. The Beaver defense held strong, but the Red Devils managed to score on a breakaway run. With time running out, Blackburn couldn't find a way to tie up the score and the match was ended, Eureka 1, Blackburn 0.

Though the Eureka match was a tough loss for the Blackburn Women's Soccer Team, they hope to return to the conference next year with more players and the same, if not more tenacity that they have shown all season.
