Women's Soccer Drops Game To Blue Jays

On a gloomy Saturday afternoon, the Blackburn College Women's Soccer team fell to the Westminster College Blue Jays by a score of 3-0.

Blackburn couldn't really get anything going offensively by only taking four shots. Westminster controlled most of the game with 24 shots, ten of which were saved by senior goalkeeper Shana Sewick(Belvidere, Ill.).

The Blue Jays' Eileen Koppy was credited with two of Westminster's three goals on the aftrenoon. Alexis Richie(Carlinville, Ill.) led the Beavers in shots with two.

The Beavers are now 5-5-1 on the season and 1-1 in SLIAC play. They will be in action tomorrow against Mt. Mary University with kick-off scheduled for noon.
