It was a difficult day of soccer for the Blackburn College Women’s Soccer Team as they hosted a very tough Webster University. Webster entered the day in first place in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Blackburn struggled offensively as Alexis Richie managed the only two shots for the team the entire match. Shana Sewick had a very busy day in goal for the Beavers with 16 saves.
Blackburn falls to 6-6 with a 1-1 record in conference. Their next piece of action will be Monday October, 14th as the team heads to Kentucky to take on Spalding University. Start time scheduled for 1:00 pm.
