On a day when the women's soccer team honored seven of their senior teammates, the visiting Splading University Golden Eagles came away with a 2-0 victory. The loss concludes the season for the Beavers as they finish with a 8-10-1 overall mark.

Seniors Alexis Richie (Carlinville, Ill.), Emma Witte (Festus, Mo.), Allison Guerra (Elsah, Ill.), Mary Chamberlain (Johnsburg, Ill.), Kara Taylor (St. Louis, Mo.), Chelsea McMillian (Bethalto, Ill.) and DeArryka Williams (East St. Louis, Ill.) were celebrated with a ceremony before today's game as they played their last collegiate soccer match.

Splading's Baylee Tabler stole the show though by scoring both goals in the game. The Beavers were outshot 28-4 this afternoon and freshman goalkeeper Nicole Kelly (St. Louis, Mo.) made 10 saves to secure her leading spot in saves with 185. Kelly's .881 save percentage was also a SLIAC best.
