The Blackburn Women`s Soccer Team traveled to St. Louis to play in a conference match against Fontbonne College on Tuesday, October 13th. Fontbonne came to play as they put the Blackburn defense to work. Fontbonne had a total of 40 shots. Jourdin McFarland (Carlinville, Ill.) came up with fifteen saves for the match. The Beavers had a hard time connecting passes in order to put one in the back of the net. Fontbonne took the win over the Beavers 4-0.
The Women`s Soccer Team falls to 4-8 overall. The Beavers look to break their 4 loss streak as they host Eureka College on Thursday, October 15th. The game is estimated to start at 1pm.
