Beavers Impress Homecoming Crowd

A huge crowd came out on Homecoming weekend to support the Blackburn Women`s Soccer Team as they kicked off their conference season against MacMurray College. The game was back and forth and very competitive. Christin Miller (Georgetown, Ind.) showed off her offensive talents by scoring all four goals during the match (22:00, 29:31, 38:47, 68:04). Blackburn had a total of twenty four shots on goal while MacMurray had a total of sixteen. Jourdin McFarland (Carlinville, Ill.) came up with seven saves for the match.  Blackburn held their ground as they battled to get the win over MacMurray 4-2.

The Women`s Soccer Team looks to continue their streak as they head to Robert Morris-Lake County on Wednesday September 30th. Game is estimated to start at 3:00PM.
