The Women`s Blackburn Soccer Team recently held a “mini practice” for some of the young children of Carlinville who enjoy the game of soccer.  The children were kindergarteners to first graders. Blackburn players helped and cheered on the children as they practiced foot skills, endurance, and building team work. Timothy Gould, The Blackburn Women`s Soccer Coach, stated “The youth practice was a lot of fun for everyone involved and a great learning experience for the youth players and our collegiate players.” Blackburn looks to hold more events like this to get the community involved.
