After winning three conference games in a row sadly the Beavers fell short to MacMurray.  In the first half, Blackburn controlled the match and kept the ball on the opposing side switching up their plays.  MacMurray's players were very aggressive and many fouls were called.  At the end of the first half MacMurray ended up scoring making the match 1-0.  In the second half, there was a foul in the box by one of MacMurray's players and freshman, Morgan Adams, scored us a goal from a PK kick. The Beavers played well throughout the whole game but the ball just wasn't falling in the Beavers favor.

The Blackburn Beavers are back in action taking on Spalding University October 8, at 1 pm. in Carlinville
