Blackburn Women's Soccer Team faces a tough defeat against Principia on senior night. The Beavers played their hearts out in today's match falling just short to Principia in two 10 minute overtimes for a final score of 3-2.

The first half was all Blackburn coming out getting an early lead of 2-1. Freshman Maya March put in the two goals for the Beavers in the first half with assist from senior Christy Hobbs . At the beginning of the second half the Beavers played a tough game down to the very end of the half when Principia got their second shot in to tie the game up. The ladies then went into their first 10 minutes of overtime and it ended scoreless. Then in the second 10 minutes Principia got a lucky goal with 2 minutes left on the clock to end the game 3-2.

The Beavers are now 5-11-1 in the season and are back in action on Thursday October 27th @ Webster at 5 pm for a make up game.
