The Blackburn College Women's Soccer team dropped a 6-0 non-conference match against Knox College on Wednesday in Carlinville. After a scoreless first 20 minutes, Knox College scored on a goal from Kayla Brown. That's all the Prairie Fire needed to get going.
Knox added two additional first half goals to take a 3-0 halftime lead. Knox came out on fire in the second half with Alex Robertson scoring the first two goals of the second half which accounted for her hat-trick on the afternoon.
The Beavers fall to 0-3-1 on the season.
Blackburn is back in action this weekend as they travel to Milwaukee to take on Lakeland College at 12 noon on Saturday.
