The Blackburn College Women's Soccer Team dropped their conference home opener to MacMurray College, 3-0, on Wednesday afternoon in Carlinville. Blackburn couldn't muster much offense as the Beavers were out-shot 25-2 on the afternoon. The Highlanders opened the scoring at 32:09 on a Krystal Kohensky goal. MacMurray added another goal 2:20 later and Kohensky had a second goal in the second half to round out the scoring.
Morgan Zobrist had ten saves in goal for Blackburn, which was without a pair of starters.
Blackburn is now 3-6 overall and 1-1 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
MacMurray improves to 5-5, 2-0.
