Kami Vallero will begin her third year as Head Women's Tennis Coach at Blackburn College.  A former four-year letter winner at Blackburn, Kami transitions over to athletics after the past few years as a travelling admissions coordinator. While at Blackburn, Vallero was named co-captain and won the "team encourager" award.  At Blackburn, Vallero earned a bachelor in communications with an emphasis on British and American Literature.

Kami was a two-year letterwinner at Vandalia High School.  Kami is married to former Blackburn athlete Luke Vallero.

"I am honored to be leading a program that greatly impacted my life as a young woman. Playing tennis for Blackburn helped me realize my own strengths on and off the court, in a way that I know I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. I hope to replicate a similar experience in my own players for years to come. I am most excited to help encourage these young adults to embrace being leaders on and off the court," said Coach Vallero.
