Blackburn College senior setter Jensen Ballinger recently went over 500 digs for her career in a match at Fontbonne University. In addition to her 1,094 assists she is the first Blackburn volleyball player to reach those numbers since 1998. Ballinger, from Vincennes, Indiana (Lincoln HS) has the second most career assists since 1998 at Blackburn. Her 508 digs rank her in the top ten since 1998.
“Jensen has really been able to adjust well defensively that has really started to show in matches,” said Blackburn Head Coach Carlos Jimenez. “Her accomplishments are a great statement about her abilities over a four year period and her success at helping the team,” added Jimenez.
