Women's Soccer Drops Conference Matchup to Greenville

Blackburn Women's Soccer dropped a SLIAC Conference matchup to the Panthers of Greenville University. The game took place on October 29th, 2019 at Blackburn College in Carlinville, Illinois. 

 

  • Greenville dominated offensively. As a team, they had 24 shots, with 15 on goal. 
  • Blackburn goalkeeper Morgan Zobrist had seven saves. 
  • Libby Adams and Maria Cline each had a shot on goal for the Beavers. 
  • Greenville goalkeepers Maryjory Coates and Reaghan Lesh kept the Beavers off the board.

 

Greenville defeated the Beavers 7-0. They move to an overall record of 9-5-2, and 6-0-1 in the SLIAC. The Beavers, meanwhile, move to an overall record of 4-11, and 2-6 in the SLIAC. The Beavers will have their final game of the season on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. They will host Spalding University, and it will be senior day for the Beavers.
