Blackburn College junior setter Kendall Burleyson recently went over the 1,000 assist mark for her career this weekend in Chicago. In the second set of the Beavers match against Mt. St. Joseph's College, Burleyson recorded her 1,000th assist. She becomes the fourth player in Blackburn history to record over 1,000 assists.
“Kendall has been a strong leader for Blackburn’s offense even prior to my tenure. She does a phenomenal job adjusting to each hitter and by doing so, enables them to score. As a team captain, Kendall is an amazing leader on and off the court," said Blackburn Head Coach Morgan Hauser.
