For the third consecutive year, Craig Virgin, a former World Cross Country champion spoke with the Blackburn College Cross Country Team. Virgin showed video of him winning the world championship and also provided many other motivational themes to the team.
Virgin grew up in humble surroundings in Lebanon, Illinois where his high school did not even have a track. He explained that success can be attained no matter the facilities and that running just requires the will.
