The Blackburn College Cross Country Team was the first team to implement the faculty mentor program in the 2015-16 school year.  Dr. Karl Luth, a chemistry and physics professor joined the Cross Country team for a run recently.  The faculty mentor program is an intiative started by new Blackburn College Athletic Director Vernon Mummert to bring faculty closer to student-athletes.
