The Blackburn College Women's Basketball Team lost at Westminster College 90-44 on Wednesday night in Fulton, Missouri, in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Action. Westminster controlled the game from the outset taking a 25-9 lead after one quarter and a 45-15 lead into the halftime locker room.
Blackburn was led in scoring by Savannah Kruse who had 13 points.
Blackburn was plagued by 16 percent shooting from behind the three-point line.
The Bluejays held a 44-33 rebounding advantage and only committed six turnovers for the game.
Blackburn is now 4-7 overall and 2-3 in the SLIAC. Westminster improves to 5-7 and 4-1 in league play.
The Beavers will return home on Saturday to face MacMurray College at 1 p.m. as it will be all conference contests for the remainder of the season.
