Blackburn College Men's Basketball Coach Jason Baribeau will be wearing sneakers with his suit this Saturday as the Beavers host Greenville College in the Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers promotion. The event is a joint effort of the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches that empowers basketball coaches to help make a difference in the fight against cancer.

Blackburn is scheduled to tip-off at 3:00 p.m. following the Blackburn vs. Greenville Women's Basketball contest.

“It’s really special because everyone at the gym has someone in their life who has been affected, whether it’s a professor, friend, or family member, it’s always important to have this event and bring out everyone that can participate," said Blackburn Coach Jason Baribeau.
