Matt Liddell fired a one-over par 73 to lead the Blackburn College Men's Golf Team to 7th place after the first day at the Blue Boy Open held at The Rail Golf Course in Springfield. Jordan McMillen shot a 7-over 79, Kyle Kessinger carded an 82, Lucas Rochkes a 90 and Tyler Solie a 93 to round out the scoring for Blackburn.

The Beavers will be back in action on Saturday as they resume play in the tournament.
