Blackburn Men’s Golf Team finishes 4th and White medals at the Iowa Wesleyan Fall Classic.

On Tuesday, September 28th at Schaeffer Memorial Golf Course in Fort Madison, Iowa the Beavers finished with a 324 which placed fourth out of nine teams. Blackburn was led by senior Thomas White who shot an outstanding 75 to finish third out of 53 golfers. Freshman Conner Dorries followed with an 82 and finished 21st individually. Junior Derek Phillips also played very well and shattered his previous career-high shooting an 83. Alex Kueker rounded out the scoring finishing with an 84. 

Tess Sathoff represented the girl’s golf team playing as an individual. Sathoff shot a respectable 101 which finished 25th out of 32 golfers. 

The Beavers’ next match is Monday, October 4th in a men’s and women’s duel match vs Eureka. The match will take place at  Eureka Country Club. This will be the last match of the fall semester. The season will resume in March 2022.
