Alex is the son of Christi and Doug Miller and he has three siblings (Monica, Olivia, and Jonathon). Alex likes to sing along to his favorite movie Pitch Perfect while his favorite superhero is Captain America. 

In 2012, Alex scored five goals in 17 games, one of which was a game winner.
