The Men's Cross Country team did quite well over the weekend at Principia in their first meet of the season. The Beavers finished fourth as a team while freshman Zach Felckel (Bethalto, Ill.) finished 7th overall with a time of 22:27.

Also placing at 14, 17, 22, and 25 respectively were David Serrano (Carlinville, Ill.) , Timothy Lacy (Jerseyville, Ill.), Nathan Speckhart (Girard, Ill.), and Noah Daum (Carrolton, Ill.).

The only Blackburn runner on the women's side was Wendy Pocklington (Girard, Ill.), who finished 21st.

The next meet is at SIUE on September 21st.
