Blackburn Drops two Games to Westminster

The Blackburn Beavers Women's Softball team lost two games to Westminster on Sunday at home by the scores of 8-0 and 10-2. 

In the first game the Beavers only recorded four hits againist Westminster pitcher Alyson Haln for the whole game. Kaitlyn Wade was having an off day with letting Westminster get 11 hits and seven runs. The beavers coulding seem to get that bat to connect with the ball. 

The Second game didnt go over to well either with the beavers only getting a total of three hits aganist pitcher Kaite Price. Abby Frerich hit a double in the bottom of the 2nd and Danille Burnell Scored. Shortly after Abby Frerich scored giving the Beavers the two runs for game two. 

The Beavers are back out on the field on April 26th as they take on Robert Morris Springfield in Carlinville at 5:00pm and 7:00pm.
