Blackburn College Senior Catcher Hannah Goett was named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's Hitter of the Week for the week ending March 19. Goett, from Springfield, Illinois, batted .500 on the Beavers recent southern trip.  For the week Goett was 12 for 24 with five homeruns and nine runs batted in.  Goett hit safely in all eight games and had four multi-hit games.  She finished the week with a slugging percentage of 1.208, amd scored ten runs.  Behind the plate, Goett threw out a pair of baserunners trying to steal.

Goett's hot start has helped the Beavers jump out to an impressive 9-6 record on the season.
