Ft. Myers, FL ; Sewanee, TN--The Blackburn College softball season broke even this past week in their spring break trip to Ft. Myers, Florida and Sewanee, Tennessee. The Beavers finished the week 5-5, after facing new competition and a variety of teams.

Coach Crum commented on his overall impressions of how the trip went. "I believe that this was a highly successful trip. We were in every game, playing to the best of our ability. There were some games we fell short, but we played tough the entire time. Playing eight games in four days allowed us to switch up the lineups and allow everyone to play at one point. The entire team contributed in every single game, allowing us to grow as a team".
